A Senior Associate Attorney at the Gordon Law Group, Michael works on a variety of legal matters. Michael concentrates his practice in tax controversy, namely handling assessment or collection tax matters before both IRS and the Illinois Department of Revenue. Michael is also well versed in internationaltax controversy, namely, representing clients entering the Streamlined Offshore Disclosure or Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Programs.
Michael also practices in corporate and employment law. He works with startup companies to determine which business entity is best suited for what the goals they seek to achieve, and helps them with the filing of any of the necessary paperwork with regard to state and federal taxes.
Further, Michael represents both buyers and sellers in transactions related to residential real estate.
Aside from having a Law Degree at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Michael also has a BS in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and he has proven himself to be both reliable and diligent in his ability to deal with tax-related cases. He works hard to find the best solution to even the most complicated legal issues.
While not at the office, Michael enjoys spending time with his wifeand two daughters, playing recreational sports and catching the newest films.
