Tax Law – The Process

ovdp lawyer

Step 1: Consultation

We offer our clients a free consultation to confidentially discuss your situation.

Step 2: Investigation

Before any course of action is determined, we thoroughly investigate and analyze your matter. We immediately file a Power of Attorney with the IRS to act as your tax counsel. As your attorneys of record, we will obtain from the IRS information allowing us to identify unfiled tax returns, substitute for returns, outstanding liabilities, and the current status of your matter.

Step 3: Compliance

With members of our team who are both attorneys and CPAs, we will prepare and file any of your outstanding tax returns.

Step 4: Resolution

Once tax compliance is achieved, we will work with the IRS to reach a resolution of your case. We have negotiated offers in compromise, installment agreements, non collectible status, and other resolutions for our clients.
